About

I have been an amateur photographer since I was just 15 and a professional wedding photographer for over six years now.  I studied photography at the University of Nottingham and trained as a professional wedding photographer with the BIPP – the British Institute of Professional Photography.

My style of working is relaxed and natural, working with my wedding couple to get the best from them, as well as from their family, friends and other guests. I aim to capture the spirit and character of the people in front of the lens and my passion for what I do shines through in my work.

When shooting weddings or portraits, and whether on location or in the studio, I always seek to put people at ease and encourage them to enjoy being photographed.  The more fun people are having, the better the pictures will be.

When photographing a wedding, I follow the natural flow of the day, from the  excitement of the preparations and anticipation of what is to come, through the emotions of the ceremony and onto the enjoyment of the celebrations. My aim is to capture more than a bride and groom – I look out for moments that define them and their relationship. I seek out all the moments of joy between the couple and their friends and family, working with the wedding party so they feel at ease and enjoy having their photographs taken. My skills in communicating with people give me constant opportunities for wonderful pictures.

Please do take a little time to look through my portfolio, where my images will speak for themselves.  And contact me whenever is convenient to discuss what you’d like in more detail.
